From the very beginning of my adventure and the chapter of life I spent in Italy, a remarkable girl crossed my path. In just a few minutes, an exciting friendship between us started. It was a time when I discovered the profound depth of connection between women, embracing the power of sharing laughter, navigating through moments of sadness and fear, and experiencing every emotion except loneliness.
Trust never comes easily, at least not initially.
But with her, it was different. You know those moments in movies when two characters fall in love at first sight? Something similar happened to me. She was full of simplicity, acceptance, and care then, and she remains so to this day. She served as a reminder that true connections often occur when least expected. And fastly, she became one of my closest, dearest friends.
In the middle of life’s chaos, the complexities of choices, and the multitude of emotions we made our bond stronger.
She’s my inspiration to never give up. Even on the toughest days, she showed me to get out of bed, even to just make a cup of tea, and sometimes just go back to rest. Through her, I learned to cherish even the smallest victories in life and so much more.
